Skatepool The Hague

Together with Sjors "Maedist" Kouthoofd I did this cool project in The Hague.

The Hague Street Art asked us to do a community project. We would paint this skatepool for and with local children. After a brainstorm session we gathered ideas to make a design for the painting. We wanted to embody different characters, texts and conceptual drawings in this piece. 

Together with the children we found the way to combine the different ingredients by using a tape cassette in the middle of the pool. A colourfull tape is rolling out of the cassette giving the painting a dynamic and bold look. 

The children participated in painting the design in the skatepool.
